A TFT-LCD array substrate and a manufacturing method thereof. The TFT-LCD array substrate includes a gate line metal layer (1), a data line metal layer (2) overlapped with the gate line metal layer (1) and a plurality of layer bodies coated around the gate line metal layer (1) and the data line metal layer (2), wherein the gate line metal layer (1) is provided thereon with a first gate line (11) and a second gate line (12) parallel to each other and arranged alternately, and the data line metal layer (2) is provided thereon with the first data line (21) and a second data line (22) parallel to each other and arranged alternately; the first gate line (11) and the second gate line (12) are electrically connected; and the first data line (21) and the second data line (22) are electrically connected. The TFT-LCD array substrate and the manufacturing method thereof can reduce the occurrence rate of line breakage of a TFT-LCD active matrix, improving the aperture opening ratio of the products, and the yield of the products can be improved.
