PURPOSE: A camera module is provided to miniaturize a camera module by reducing the whole height of the camera module. CONSTITUTION: A camera module comprises a lens barrel unit(110), a housing unit(120), an IR filter(130), a circuit board(150), an image sensor(140), and a reinforcement plate(170). A plurality of lens is stacked in the lend barrel. The housing unit covers the outer periphery of the lend barrel unit. The IR filter is mounted on the lower part of the housing unit, thereby removing near infrared rays. The circuit board is positioned under the IR filter and mounted on the inner surface of the housing unit. The circuit board includes an opening in the center. The image sensor is mounted under the circuit board, thereby converting external images into electrical signals. The reinforcement plate is mounted in the inner surface of the housing unit and supports the underside of the circuit board. |
