<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve both seizure resistance and abrasion resistance of a slide bearing part including side boss parts 41, 42 of a differential case 4, side gears 8, 9, and thrust washers 15, 16, in a differential 1. <P>SOLUTION: A chamfer 44 is provided at an inner diameter side of an internal surface of a side boss part 41, and a relief part 83 recessed from an outer surface of a geared part 82 in an axial direction is provided at a corner in a side gear 8 at which an outer surface of a center shaft part 81 and that of the geared part 82 cross. At both side surfaces of the thrust washer 15 near an inner diameter, retreating parts 151, 152 are provided which retreat respectively in the axial direction. Respective positions of outer peripheral edges of both the retreating parts 151, 152 are disposed so as to coincide in a radial direction. Positions of respective outer peripheral edges of the relief part 83 are disposed so as to coincide with positions of respective outer peripheral edges of both the retreating parts 151, 152 in the radial direction.
