<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame detecting system which allows cost reduction. <P>SOLUTION: Frame rods 14 and 15 are connected in parallel to one flame detector 16 to detect the presence of flame of a main burner 12 and a pilot burner 13 without providing each burner with a flame detector 16.
