The present invention relates to the field of communications. Disclosed are a group calling method, a terminal and an application server. The method comprises: in the need of shielding the listening right of one or more terminals in a group by a terminal having the speaking right during a group calling process, receiving a starting appointed range calling message sent by the terminal having the speaking right, the starting appointed range calling message carrying the identifier of the shielded terminal; and shielding the listening right of the shielded terminal according to the identifier of the shielded terminal. The device comprises a first receiving module and a shielding module. The application server comprises an obtaining module and a third sending module. According to the present invention, the listening range of the group can be controlled by the terminal with the speaking right. |
