PURPOSE: An airbag device for a passenger seat is provided to suppress the pressure of unfolding of an airbag cushion. CONSTITUTION: An airbag device for a passenger seat comprises an air bag cushion(10), a vent tube(30), a guide panel(40), and a tether(50). The air bag cushion expands if gas flows in. The vent tube discharges the gas. The guide panel is arranged to correspond to the vent tube. The tether tightens and closes the vent tube as the air bag cushion expands.
