<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a system and method for information transmission in which a receiving side can obtain up-to-date information without the need to transmit to a receiving side information to the effect that a common memory is used and a transmission side writes in the common memory. <P>SOLUTION: An information transmission system 10 writes change information as information changing its content each time in a common memory 13 by change information input means 12 at the time of inputting specific information having a time-varying possibility, and writes the specific information split so as to sandwich the same information in the common memory 13. The receiving side reads a set of these pieces of the up-to-date information from the common memory 13, and adopts the read specific information as the up-to-date information if a pair of the change information match each other.
