PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass substrate carrying method which hardly causes a flaw in a glass substrate when carrying the glass substrate.

SOLUTION: A glass substrate carrying method is provided where a glass substrate is held by a holder through a spacer and the spacer and the glass substrate are carried at the same time. A glass substrate laminate forming method is provided which uses the glass substrate carrying method. A glass substrate carrier device is provided. A glass substrate laminate forming system is provided which includes the glass substrate carrier device. A manufacturing method of a glass substrate for a magnetic recording medium is provided which uses the glass substrate carrying method. A manufacturing method of a glass substrate for a magnetic recording medium is provided which uses the glass substrate laminate forming method.
