SPINNING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR REMOVING END PART OF SPUN YARN PRIOR TO PIECING PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning machine capable of removing the end part of a spun yarn, and to provide a method for removing the same.

SOLUTION: A spinning part (1) of a spinning machine comprises: a spinning device (2) with an inlet (3) for a fiber material (4) and an outlet (5) for a spun yarn (6) produced from the fiber material (4); a feeding device (7) for feeding the fiber material (4) into the spinning device (2); a winding device (8) for winding the produced spun yarn (6); and spun yarn end part removing means (9) which is partly arranged between the outlet (5) of the spinning device (2) and the winding device (8) and removes the end part of the sun yarn (6). Prior to a subsequent piecing process, the end part of the spun yarn (6) is gripped and cut to be separated from the rest of the spun yarn (6) and removed from the spinning part (1) with the aid of the spun yarn end part removing means (9).
