<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure the arrival order of a group of frames having the same source and destination, in a network repeater which encapsulates a frame being repeated in a core network while making the physical line in the core network redundant. <P>SOLUTION: The network repeater connected with the perimeter of a core network and repeating a frame comprises a plurality of ports for connecting the physical line, a virtual line control unit which handles a plurality of physical lines connected with the plurality of ports, respectively, as virtual lines and selects an output destination physical line becoming the output destination of the frame, according to a predetermined rule depending on the content of a header included in the frame, and an encapsulation unit which imparts a capsule header for a frame being transmitted toward the core network so that the output destination physical line selected by the virtual line control unit is identical for a group of frames where the destination and the source are identical. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
