THIN PLATE CONSTITUTING CASING STRUCTURE FOR HOUSING RAILWAY VEHICLE ELECTRIC COMPONENT, CASING FOR HOUSING RAILWAY VEHICLE ELECTRIC COMPONENT USING THE SAME, AND RAILWAY VEHICLE ELECTRICAL INSTRUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy understanding of a part and length of each welding part without a marking-off work to a welding span and a welding pitch, and to prevent the generation of a welding bead intermittently projecting to enable security of sufficient weld strength and quality improvement in a railway vehicle casing structure.

SOLUTION: A raised part formed by one end of a thin plate being folded and a surface of the other end of the thin plate are positioned to face and contact with each other, and are bonded by intermittently fillet weld along an end face of the raised part. As a result, the thin plate constitutes a casing structure for housing a railway vehicle electric component. On the end face of the raised part, a notch is formed for corresponding to a part of the intermittently fillet weld and housing a bead inside.
