PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary impact tool capable of unfailingly preventing, by a retaining member, a coupling member for switching between coupled and decoupled states of a drive shaft for rotating a hammer and anvil, from dropping out of a switching pin caused by an impact or the like caused due to a collision of the anvil and hammer against each other, and besides capable of removing the coupling member simply from the switching pin in replacing the parts.
SOLUTION: In the rotary impact tool 1, the coupling member 4 can be prevented, by a retaining member 6 inserted into an insertion hole 50 of the switching pin 5, from dropping out of the switching pin 5. The retaining member 6 is composed of an insertion part 60 and a locking part 61 bendable elastic. Then, when the insertion part 60 is allowed to penetrate the insertion hole 50, an apical end side of the locking part 61 comes in contact with an outer circumferential surface 51 of the switching pin 5 to be pushed and elastically expanded for the apical end 63 of the locking part 61 to climb over the outer circumferential surface 51, thereby allowing the rotary impact tool to be locked to the switching pin 5.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
