Disclosed is a large aperture optical reflector with a laminated granite specular body, comprising an optical specular body (1). The optical specular body is made of granite with a low expansion co-efficient. Since the granite has a low expansion co-efficient, and the mechanical stability thereof is close to that of an optical glass, a planar specular body, or a collimating specular body with a spherical surface or aspheric surface made from granite has good surface processing performance, a high planar precision and can be produced with processing equipment and technologies for optical glass. In addition, large size granite material is easily available, thereby reducing manufacturing costs.
