PURPOSE: An electric steering lock device for a vehicle and an assembly method thereof are provided to reduce the number of components and assembly processes and to use a column housing in common. CONSTITUTION: An electric steering lock device(100) for a vehicle comprises a lock body(110), a cover unit(120), and a driving assembly unit. The lock body comprises a lock hole(111) opened downwards. The cover unit is connected to an upper part of the lock body and forms internal space between the lock body and the cover unit. The driving assembly unit generates power in the internal space and vertically moves a lock bar(250) through the lock hole by transmitting the power to the internal space. |
