CONSTITUTION: A light emitting structure includes a first semiconductor layer(120), a second semiconductor layer(140), and an active layer(130). A cavity(c) is formed in a support member(110) to be opened to a lower side. The cavity includes an encapsulating material(114) having a fluorescent substance(116). A transparent electrode layer(150) is formed on the outer surface of the second semiconductor layer. A first electrode(172) is arranged on the exposed region of the first semiconductor layer.
