PURPOSE: A driver convenience system and a control method thereof are provided to prevent the accident occurring by following a preceding vehicle on red signal light. CONSTITUTION: A radar module(31) is installed on the vehicles. The radar signal is radiated to the preceding cars. The radar signal reflected to is received. A communications module(32) receives the information of the traffic signal from the traffic signal transmission device. An electronic control unit(34) analyzes the information of signal light while travelling with keeping the safe distance with the preceding cars using radar module. |
