<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inserter including both a function capable of satisfactorily maintaining a state where a catheter is placed near an affected area, and a function suppressing blood clot from being formed in a clearance existing between a sheath for an introducer and the catheter, and to provide a medical instrument. <P>SOLUTION: The tubular inserter 1 serves to support the insertion of the catheter 2 into the sheath 3 for the introducer for introducing the catheter 2 into a body. The inserter 1 includes: an inner diameter inserter inner circumferential surface 14 which is slidable with the outer circumference of the catheter 2, and is reduced in size through insertion into the sheath 3 for the introduce so as to secure the catheter 2; and an outer diameter inserter outer circumferential surface 15 which is slidable while adhering to the inner circumference of the sheath 3 for the introducer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
