<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device for a long member which can stably cut the long member regardless of a cutting position. <P>SOLUTION: The cutting device for the long member includes: support bodies 3 on which the long member 1 is installed; a fixing device 5 fixing the long member 1 on the support bodies 3; and a cutting tool 29 cutting the long member 1 fixed to the fixing device 5. The cutting tool 29 is movable in the axial direction of the long member 1 and can cut the long member 1 in each axial position within the moving range.
