<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound needle that can suppress a decrease in strength of a needle body due to fine gauging while suppressing backlash inside a guide groove, by using simple processing. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a compound needle slidably housing a slider 3 in a slider groove extending in the longitudinal direction of a front end portion of a hook member 22, the slider 3 including a slider base body 31, and blades 32 and 33 overlapped with each other at a center position in a needle width direction of the hook member 22. A guide groove 41 extending in a longitudinal direction at the center position in the needle width direction of the hook member 22 is recessedly formed in the vicinity of a center position in a longitudinal direction of a support surface portion 25 of the hook member 22. A projection 42 in which the one blade 32 is projected from the tip of the other blade 33 is offset-bent to the center position in the needle width direction of the hook member 22 and is inserted into the guide groove 41, and the guide groove 41 is set to a groove width corresponding to a dimension in the needle width direction of the projection 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
