<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand-held working machine improvable in work efficiency by improving the operability of an output adjusting mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: An adjusting operation member 141 of the output adjusting mechanism 140 is provided between a first throttle lever 120 and a grip part 111, and a knob 141a of the adjusting operation member 141 is provided movably within a predetermined range to make the output of an engine 3 adjustable from an idling operation state to a maximum output state by the operation of moving the knob 141a from one end to the other end within the predetermined range.
