<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which is excellent in direct advance performance and excellent in turning performance. <P>SOLUTION: The tire 2 for a two-wheeled motor vehicle includes a tread 4, a carcass 10, a belt 12, a shoulder band 14, and a center band 16. The belt 12 includes cords extending by inclining relative to the circumferential direction thereof. The center band 16 and the shoulder band 14 include cords substantially extending in the circumferential direction thereof. The thickness of the tread 4 from the belt 12 located outside the shoulder band 14 to a tread surface 22 is made thinner from a thickness Hc inside in the axial direction thereof toward a thickness Ht outside in the axial direction thereof. A ratio W1/Wt is 0.2 to 0.7, wherein W1 denotes a tread width from an axial directional inside end to a tread end 25 and Wt denotes a tread half width from an equatorial plane to the tread end 25, in the shoulder band 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
