The cave has back-illuminated module elements and a structured carrier material (1), where a salt layer is arranged on the structured carrier material. A side of each module element is covered with a continuous salt surface. The carrier material includes a 1 cm deep structure. The carrier material is made of polypropylene. The module element is designed translucent. The carrier material is provided with fastening devices (4) e.g. hooks (5). A vapor barrier (8) is provided on a rear side. The carrier material includes a surface with a honeycomb (2). An independent claim is also included for a module element.
