<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for properly measuring the size of a body lumen, such as the esophagus, and treating the body lumen. <P>SOLUTION: A treatment device for esophagus includes: a generator having an RF energy source and a pump; a sizing 10; and a treatment catheter 22. While the sizing and the treatment catheter are connected to a generator electric connector and a generator air connector, the generator determines the size of the esophagus 14 by inflating the sizing and the treatment catheter to sizing pressure and supplies sufficient energy to an electrode array 30 based on the size of the esophagus determined by the generator for treating the esophagus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
