<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image processing device capable of notifying a diagnosing personnel that a segmentation error has occurred or may have occurred during tissue segmentation processing. <P>SOLUTION: This medical image processing device 1 specifies a gray matter image of a subject (S31), smooths the gray matter image (S32), and, in accordance with an evaluation function for calculating an absolute Z score, calculates an evaluation value (S33).
