<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio that maintains high frequency accuracy without requiring complicated maintenance and implements a large frequency shift by a modulation signal. <P>SOLUTION: The radio includes: a voltage-controlled crystal oscillator for outputting a reference signal; a voltage-controlled oscillator for outputting a high frequency signal; a phase-locked loop for receiving the reference signal and the high frequency signal to perform phase locking such that the high frequency signal has the same phase as the reference signal; a comparison signal generation section for generating a comparison signal; and a control section for outputting a frequency correction signal to correct the frequency of the reference signal to the voltage-controlled crystal oscillator, and changing the value of the frequency correction signal such that the frequency of the reference signal is within a predetermined range of the frequency of the comparison signal on the basis of the reference signal and the comparison signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
