<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress or prevent attenuation of light from a light-emitting layer due to a film thickness of a transparent protective film without being influenced by a film thickness of a transparent protective film, to be capable of minimizing influence of light-shielding pattern such as an electrode and a pad, and to achieve improvement of light output and further uniform surface-emitting. <P>SOLUTION: In a GaN-based LED 1, which is a light-emitting element, emitting light at a light-emitting layer, which is an active layer 4 located between stacked layers, with a predetermined voltage applied between both electrodes, both the electrodes and a transparent protective film 9 which insulates and protects a laminated surface at which both the electrodes are provided are provided and a transparent light scattering material 9a is mixed in the transparent protective film 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
