<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home delivery system in which even a receiver who cannot use a home delivery box device for a resident can use the home delivery box device irrespective of carriers and also can forward delivery. <P>SOLUTION: In the home delivery system, a control server 1, local operation center terminal devices 3 that are installed in a plurality of local operation centers exercising jurisdiction over local blocks, and a terminal device 5 of a user as a receiver of the delivery are connected to one another via a communication network 2. The box device 4 is installed in the local operation center. Shipping information is sent to a user from the control server 1 when the delivery with an address of the user is delivered to the local operation center. The user can send a request of forwarding or not forwarding the delivery to another local operation center when sending the forwarding request, the delivery is forwarded.
