<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition having excellent anticorrosiveness and moisture resistance, and hardly causing corrosion on a coated film forming object. <P>SOLUTION: The coating composition contains a coated film forming resin, a crosslinking agent, a vanadium compound, and a rust preventive accelerator, wherein the electroconductivity of a 1-mass% aqueous solution of the vanadium compound is 200 to 2,000 μS/cm, and the total content of the vanadium compound is 5 to 150 pts.mass with respect to 100 pts.mass of the total of the solid content of the coated film forming resin and the crosslinking agent; the rust preventive accelerator contains a water-soluble compound and/or a chelate forming compound, and the total content of the rust preventive accelerator is 1 to 150 pts.mass with respect to 100 pts.mass of the total of the solid content of the coated film forming resin and the crosslinking agent; the water-soluble compound is a compound having an electroconductivity of its 1-mass% aqueous solution of >2,000 and ≤15,000 μS/cm, and is the compound selected from a hydroxide of an alkaline earth metal, a vanadic acid compound and a cerium compound; and the chelate forming compound has a plurality of coordinate sites, which are coordinated to one metal ion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
