<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier which can facilitate water supply work and maintenance of a water supply tank. <P>SOLUTION: The humidifier includes: a blower 160; a humidifying filter 230; a humidifying tray 220 for supplying water to the humidifying filter 230; and the water supply tank 210 for supplying water to the humidifying tray 220. The water supply tank 210 includes: a tank body 211 including a water supply port 212; a lid 215 freely detachable to the water supply port 212; and a joint mechanism 219 for joining the lid 215 removed from the water supply port 212 to a bottom 213 of the tank body 211. While the lid 215 is joined to the bottom 213 of the tank body 211, the water supply tank 210 can be stood up for itself with the lid 215 serving as a trestle while the water supply port 212 opens upward.
