Novelty: burner used for the combustion of solid combustible biomass and more precisely of aggregated/condensed wood (wood pellets). Constitution: a cylindrical or rectangular combustion chamber (c, d) composed of two sections (the internal (a) and the external section (b)). In the cylindrical combustion chamber, both the internal and external section are constructed of two homocentric cylinders with a gap formed inbetween, while in the rectangular combustion chamber, both sections are rectangular parallelograms having a gap between them. The combustion chamber can operate in the horizontal e or vertical disposition f, in respect to the flame exit. A gravity-operated exhaust gas-sealing mechanism (damper) is placed between the combustible supply conduits to stop exhaust gases from entering through the supply conduit the combustible cistern and surrounding space. |
