<p>A multi-layered product in the form of sheet, film or a three dimensional molded article is disclosed. The product comprised a first layer (A) having a thickness of 1 mum to 2 mm containing polyalkyl (meth)acrylate and 0.01 to 20 percent relative to the weight of said first layer of a UV stabilizer and a second layer (B) that contains polycarbonate. The stabilizer conforms to formula (I) wherein X denotes OR<SUP>1</SUP>; OCH<SUB>2</SUB>CH<SUB>2</SUB>OR<SUP>1</SUP>; OCH<SUB>2</SUB>CH(OH)CH<SUB>2</SUB>OR<SUP>1 </SUP>or OCH(R<SUP>2</SUP>)COOR<SUP>3</SUP>, R<SUP>1 </SUP>is branched or unbranched C<SUB>1</SUB>-C<SUB>13 </SUB>alkyl, C<SUB>2</SUB>-C<SUB>20 </SUB>alkenyl, C<SUB>6</SUB>-C<SUB>12 </SUB>aryl or -CO-C<SUB>1</SUB>-C<SUB>18 </SUB>alkyl, R<SUP>2 </SUP>is H or branched or unbranched C<SUB>1</SUB>-C<SUB>8 </SUB>alkyl, and R<SUP>3 </SUP>is C<SUB>1</SUB>-C<SUB>12 </SUB>alkyl; C<SUB>2</SUB>-C<SUB>12</SUB>alkenyl or C<SUB>5</SUB>-C<SUB>6 </SUB>cycloalky. The product is characterized by its optical transparency and resistance to yellowing and is most suitable for glazing applications.</p> |
