<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerogel excellent in restorability. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing processed cellulose aerogel includes (A) a step for preparing an approximately cubic or rectangular cellulose aerogel including a first aerogel layer having a low cellulose fiber density, and a second aerogel layer having a higher cellulose fiber density than the first aerogel layer, wherein the layers are laminated so that the main surfaces of the layers are approximately parallel to the bottom surface of the approximately cubic or rectangular cellulose aerogel and one of the outermost outer layers is the second aerogel layer, and (B) a step for disposing a plurality of cuts 1 having a depth x defined by the following formula: 0.02 L≤x≤0.1 L (wherein L is the average length of the long side and short side of the cut surface of the approximately cubic or rectangular cellulose aerogel) in parallel to one of the long side and the short side, or disposing a plurality of the cuts 1 having the depth x in parallel to one of the long side and the short side, and further disposing a plurality of cuts 2 having the depth x in parallel to the other side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
