<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suture needle capable of fitting both ends of a suture or two sutures on a proximal end face thereof, and easily and surely fitting a suture thicker than the conventional ones. <P>SOLUTION: The suture needle 10 is characterized in that a stop hole 11 is provided in the axial direction from the proximal end face 13 of the suture needle, and the suture 12 is fitted by inserting the suture 12 into the stop hole 11 and caulking it, and the stop holes 11 are made at two positions on the proximal end face 13 and both ends of one suture 12 or two sutures can be fitted. In addition, the stop holes made at two positions may be connected partly with each other, so that the whole shape of the stop holes at the proximal end face may be a number 8 shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
