<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system capable of reducing a gradation difference in a region to be irradiated. <P>SOLUTION: A lighting system 1 comprises: a substrate 2; a plurality of semiconductor light emitting devices 3 provided on the substrate 2; a reflector 4 provided on the substrate 2 and having a plurality of light guide holes 4h surrounding each of the semiconductor light emitting devices 3; and a translucent dome-shaped cover 5 provided on the reflector 4 and covering all of the light guide holes 4h.
