<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vital measuring instrument capable of contributing to an early detection of worsening of subject's condition. <P>SOLUTION: This vital measuring instrument 10 includes: a first detecting section 21 that detects respiration movement of a subject and acquires a first respiration waveform on the basis of the respiration movement; and a second detecting section 22 that detects the respiration movement of the subject in the lower extremity side of the subject with respect to the first detecting section and acquires a second respiration waveform on the basis of the respiration movement. When the first respiration waveform and the second respiration waveform have opposite phases, this vital measuring instrument outputs a waveform obtained by adding and averaging a phase-inverted waveform formed by inverting the phase of the first respiration waveform and the second respiration waveform, as an evaluation respiration waveform and, when detecting that the first respiration waveform and the second respiration waveform do not have opposite phases, outputs a waveform obtained by adding and averaging the first respiration waveform and the second respiration waveform, as the evaluation respiration waveform. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
