<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reflecting user's intention concerning the change of an EV traveling area in a hybrid vehicle that can travel by switching EV traveling and HV traveling. <P>SOLUTION: A traveling control part 52 of an ECU 22 switches from an EV traveling mode where an engine is stopped and traveling is made using only a motor generator, to an HV traveling mode where the traveling is made by operating the engine, when a physical quantity that shows the traveling state of a hybrid vehicle such as request output, requested torque of the vehicle, and the vehicle speed exceeds an engine startup threshold. An engine startup threshold change part 54 reflects the intention of a driver from an EV switch when a signal REQ is received from the EV switch and changes the engine startup threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
