<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding for a vehicle configured such that a molding-end cap is attached to a molding body in a simple process without reducing tension-loading capacity even under high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: The molding for a vehicle 1 includes: the molding body 10 made of resin in an elongated form which is attached to a vehicle; and the molding-end cap 20 made of resin. The molding-end cap 20 includes: a cap portion 21 which is face-to-face disposed in contact with an end surface in the longitudinal direction of the molding body 10 to cover the end surface in the longitudinal direction; and a cap support 22 which is connected to the cap portion 21, and extends in the longitudinal direction of the molding body 10 from the cap portion 21 to face the internal face 10b of the molding body 10. The molding body 10 and the molding-end cap are formed from different resin materials. In the cap support 22, an embedded portion 22a is provided which is embedded in the molding body 10 from the direction of the internal face 10b of the molding body 10 by means of ultrasonic welding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
