<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing belt applied to an electromagnetic induction heating system that requires a short warm-up period, and has high durability against bending or deformation. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing belt includes at least three or more layers: a base material layer 102 formed by including resin, a metal heat generating layer 104 comprising metal as a main component; and a protective layer 106 formed by including resin, in order from inside. The metal heat generating layer 104 has a gap part 108 that penetrates through the metal heat generating layer 104 in the thickness direction; and the gap part 108 is filled with at least one of a resin forming the base material layer 102 and a resin forming the protective layer 106. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
