<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid coupling capable of reliably preventing liquid leakage therefrom, and enabling reduction in the manufacturing cost and the manufacturing time. <P>SOLUTION: The fluid coupling 1 includes a socket body 12, a fixed valve 21, a guide 30 which is engaged with the fixed valve 21 and urged so as to be tightly pressed against an inner surface of the socket body 12, a socket 11 having a spring 49 for urging the guide 30, a plug body 52, a movable valve 61, a valve 68, and a plug 51 having a valve holder 71 for supporting the movable valve 61 and the spring 62. In the fluid coupling 1, the guide 30 is retracted against the urging force of the spring 49 when the plug 51 is inserted in a socket 11, and a flow passage between the plug 51 and the socket 11 is connected. A fitting part 35 to be fitted to a fore end of the plug 51 is provided on an end of the guide 30.
