<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooler capable of preventing production of drain by cooling the interior of a housing efficiently without being affected by the installation mode of a heating element installed in the housing. <P>SOLUTION: The cooler 1 for housing comprises: an air heat exchanger 20; an electronic cooler 30 having a Peltier element 35 interposed between a heat absorption side heat sink 31 and a heat exhaust side heat sink 33; and a control unit 40 which controls driving of the fans 22, 23 of the air heat exchanger, a heat absorption fan 32, a heat exhaust fan 34, and the Peltier element based on the temperature T1 in the housing, the outside air temperature T2, and the chill temperature T3 of the Peltier element. Within a preset normal operation temperature range in the housing, the control unit drives the fans 22, 23 on condition that T2<T1) when a first set temperature is reached, stops driving of the fans 22, 23 when a second set temperature higher than the first set temperature is reached, and drives cooling of the Peltier element 35 on condition of (T3≥SVB dew condensation determination value). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
