PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system allowing reduction in a load for registering information on a transmission destination of an image and image data that constitute reference for extracting image data.

SOLUTION: An information processing system includes: a first terminal device for transmitting image data containing a retrieval target image being an object image that constitutes reference for an extraction determination and information of a terminal identifier to a second terminal device; and a second terminal device for pre-retaining one or more pieces of image data, extracting image data containing a retrieval target image from the one or more pieces of image data when receiving the image data containing the retrieval target image and the information of a terminal identifier from the first terminal device, and transmitting the extracted image data to a device specified by the terminal identifier.
