<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect transient pressure fluctuation even when the pressure of detected fluids periodically fluctuates. <P>SOLUTION: A pressure detector 1 includes a body case 10 having a front chamber 10A and a rear chamber 10B partitioned by a partition wall 11, a piezoelectric film 20 disposed over the communication port 11a of the partition wall 11 to form the front chamber 10A and the rear chamber 10B, and a resistant plate 30 disposed over the communication port 11b of the partition wall 11 to form the front chamber 10A and the rear chamber 10B.
