<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for generating electrolytic water, which can remove scale in an electrolytic cell and a cathode water discharge conduit with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus 1 for generating electrolytic water includes the electrolytic cell 2 having a cathode chamber 22 and an anode chamber 24 partitioned by a diaphragm 25 and electrolyzes raw water introduced into the electrolytic cell 2 from a raw water supply part 8 to generate cathode water in the cathode chamber 22 and anode water in the anode chamber 24.
