<p>The device (1) has a pulse-giving component arranged at a wheel in a torque-proof manner and movable relative to magnetic field sensors (2). The sensors detect a motion signal (8) generated by the pulse-giving component and transmits the signal to an evaluation unit (7). The pulse-giving component is designed as a brake disk (3), where a friction ring (4) of the brake disk comprises multiple radial evenly distributed recesses (5) i.e. slots. The sensors derive the signal by movement of the recesses relative to the sensor. The sensors are arranged in a sensor holder and a brake caliper. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle.</p>
