The sheet transport drum has cladding segments (4.2,4.3) comprising spaced apart tines (6). The coating layers (7) e.g. steel belt are assigned to the respective tines of the cladding segment. The coating layers associated with the tines, are interchangeable. The tine is provided with a hanger for hanging up a coating layer and a clamping block (9) for stretching the coating layer. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) method for adjustment of contact properties of sheet transport drum; (2) use of changeable coating; and (3) turn device.
