The injector (10) has a reservoir (2) for storing stock liquid fuel. A fuel pump (3) supplies the liquid fuel to the injector. A supply conduit (4) supplies the liquid fuel from the reservoir to the injector. A heat exchanger (9) is provided with a transfer part i.e. pipe. A wall surface of the transfer part is in contact with the liquid fuel. Another wall surface of the transfer part is in contact with the injected fuel. An insulation part (7) is provided at an outer side of the supply conduit and/or a return-flow pipe (5). An independent claim is also included for a fuel injection method.
