<p>The method involves transmitting the location information (3) received by navigation system (2) to the broadcast receiving apparatus (1), in addition to transmission of broadcast program of radio station (S) to the broadcast receiving apparatus. The prioritization of messages (M1-M5) is performed in response to the location information. The messages comprise reports of alarm, reports of traffic, reports of transportation, hazard warning report, national and/or regional news, local weather messages, meeting report, program information, sports information and/or financial news.
