<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a conventional problem of a toner prone to be influenced by temperature and humidity environment change with regard to a charge amount and a start-up of the charge amount to cause image density fluctuation at printing, and specifically in high temperature and high humidity surroundings, to cause a deficiency such as image fog due to uneven charge amount distribution. <P>SOLUTION: A toner contains a toner particle obtained by dispersing a monomer composition including a polymerizable monomer and a coloring agent in an aqueous medium to form a droplet, and then polymerizing the polymerizable monomer in the droplet. The toner includes a polymer formed by a polymerization reaction of the polymerizable monomer and a metal compound having a vinyl group in the toner particle. The metal compound having the vinyl group is a compound having a structure metal-bonded at a salicylic acid or a portion derived from -COOM<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and/or -OH of a derivative portion of the salicylic acid of an aromatic compound A expressed by a formula (1) below. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
