<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular distance sensor which is easy to mount and surely retained in a mounted state on a bumper of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic sensor 3 (distance sensor) includes: a sensor body 42; a case 46; a bezel 43; a retainer 44; and a clamp 71. When inserted into each mounting hole 54 of bumpers 2, 4 from the connector portion 65 of the case 46, the ultrasonic sensor 3 gets claws 55 elastically deformed in an opening direction as the retainer 44 passes the mounting hole 54. The claws 55 are elastically returned in the closing direction while having passed the mounting hole 54. The clamp 71 has projecting wall portions 76 (restriction portions) that prevent the claws 55 from being elastically deformed in the opening direction by engaging with either claw 55 of the claws 55 with the clamp 71 mounted on the case 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
