PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen decreasing element, an oxygen decreasing device and a refrigerator, for which the decline of oxygen decreasing capacity due to a long-term operation is reduced.

SOLUTION: The oxygen decreasing element according to an embodiment includes: an anode; a cathode; a polymer electrolyte membrane disposed between the anode and the cathode; and a planar particle layer which is composed of at least planar particles and a proton conductive polymer and is disposed between the anode and the polymer electrolyte membrane and/or between the cathode and the polymer electrolyte membrane.
